Monday Made It: A Campfire Recipe

This past week, my family and I spent a few days at a lake front cabin near San Antonio, Texas.  Although it was a short stay, it was nice to get away.  For today's Monday Made It, I wanted to share a campfire recipe that we tried last week and it was a huge hit!

The inspiration for this recipe came from this Pinterest link if you would like to check out the original recipe.  This picture is a sample of some of the supplies that you will need.  The waffle cones and marshmallows are pretty much nonnegotiable for this recipe to work, but everything else is up to you and your taste buds.  We used the supplies in the picture the first night.  The second night, we added peanut butter to the mix.
You simply need to load up your waffle cone with goodness!
Wrap your cone in aluminum foil and place on top of the fire for 4-5 minutes.
Carefully unwrap all the gooey deliciousness and enjoy.
After we returned from our little camping trip, it seems that my brain went automatically into full back to school mode.  Getting the needed supplies that my students will need for the year is a top priority for this time of the year.  So, I made my first back to school shopping list.  I love to take advantage of the weekly sales to stock my classroom without breaking the bank.
Here is a peek at the list I shared earlier on my blog.  If you would like to check out the entire list of school supplies on sale this week, click HERE.
I am off to check out all the other inspirational Monday Made It Links and I invite you to do the same!
