Five for Friday!

Happy Friday!  I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for a peek at my week.
I am thankful that my district did not decide to use Good Friday as a snow day make up day!  We decided to head into the city for a couple of hours.
We enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio.
Then, splurged on my daughter's favorite gelato!

We released our ladybugs this week.  The kids were very happy to see them crawl around and fly away outside because they never seemed to do much while they were being observed in the classroom.
We did a little Easter themed science project to observe how Peeps held up in different types of liquids.
After two hours, all that was left of the poor guy that we put in the bleach was his eyes.  The other ones held up pretty good.  We wrote down our observations and will check on them again on Monday.
A peek at our Easter Fun.......
We started with a little art fun courtesy of Art by Jenny K.
Then, we moved on to Bunny Munch and Bunny Smores.
Last, but not least, we made baby chicks to hide in our own sparkly egg.

What's coming up?
I am joining a fabulous group of teachers who will be placing their stores on sale for Easter Sunday and Monday.  I have several things on my wishlist that I am looking forward to purchasing.
My class tried out this amazing bundle from The Inspired Owl as part of the an April Product Swap.  I will be sharing a complete review with lots of picture soon, but in the meantime, you can enter to win this product and many more below.
Be sure to check it out because if you don't enter, you can't win!

  1. Your blog is absolutely adorable! I found you on Five for Friday and saw the dogs and knew I had to check it out. I'm a huge dog lover and miss my dogs terribly. I'm teaching in Korea for a year, and my dogs are back home. And I'm from Texas too! I knew you were from Texas just from your first picture. I saw the Ballpark and was like, "Hey. I know that ballpark!" Are you from the DFW area? I am.
I have a question for you. What program do you use for the the cute side by side photo collages? I really like the way they look. Very clean and professional.
    Btw....I'm your newest follower!

  2. Your blog is super cute! I have never eaten gelato. It looks delicious! I always used ladybugs, mealworms, and praying mantises during my life cycle study. The girls usually preferred the ladybugs. :)
